2. What MediaCG SEO is
MediaCG SEO is an internal Google OAuth application through which our WordPress plugin SearchPulse gets Google data for the websites we publish or maintain (for example, Kyivshchyna.info and Proslav.info). It is used only by employees and contractors of MEDIA CONTENT GROUP.
3. Which Google data and which permissions (scopes)
- Google Ads (
https://www.googleapis.com/auth/adwords) — search volumes, seasonality and keyword ideas from Keyword Planner. The application does not create or change ad campaigns. - Google Search Console (
https://www.googleapis.com/auth/webmasters) — impressions, clicks, CTR and positions of our websites, page indexing status; submitting our websites’ sitemaps. - Google Analytics (
https://www.googleapis.com/auth/analytics.readonly) — aggregated page views and sessions of our websites, read-only. - E-mail address (
openid,https://www.googleapis.com/auth/userinfo.email) — to show in the plugin settings which Google account is connected.
We receive only aggregated statistics about websites and keywords. We do not receive personal data of website visitors through Google APIs.
4. How we use the data
Only for SEO analysis and content planning of our own and maintained websites: to see which searches lead to our pages, which topics to develop and what needs fixing. Google data are not sold, not shared with third parties, and not used for advertising, profiling people or training artificial intelligence models.
MediaCG SEO’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
5. Storage and security
- Data are stored in the WordPress database of the website concerned, on servers we rent in a Hetzner data centre in Finland (EU).
- Google access tokens are kept on the server only — in the site database or in a file outside the web root — and are never sent to browsers or third-party services. All exchange with Google uses HTTPS.
- Only authorised employees and contractors have access to the websites’ admin panels.
- Statistics are kept while they are needed for the website’s analysis; after the application is disconnected no new data arrive, and stored data are deleted together with the plugin or on request.
6. Revoking access and deleting data
- In the SearchPulse plugin settings — the «Disconnect» button.
- In your Google Account: myaccount.google.com/permissions — remove access for MediaCG SEO.
- To delete received data, write to [email protected]; we complete requests within 30 days.
7. The www.mediacg.org website
The website uses no advertising or analytics cookies and does not collect personal data of visitors. The server keeps standard technical logs (IP address, time, requested address) for a limited time for security and troubleshooting.
